Guiding Kids, Teens, and Adults Toward Growth and Resilience

I’m Caitlin. I’m a passionate Mental Health Therapist, and I specialize in helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and a sprinkle of encouragement. With a Master of Counselling from City University of Seattle in Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with a Minor in Sociology) from Mount Royal University, I bring a well-rounded academic foundation to my work. I’m currently pursuing registration as a Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and I can’t wait to bring my dedication and skills to every client I meet!

A Heart for Helping and a Passion for Advocacy

My work with The Mustard Seed, where I served as a Recovery Program Supervisor, Wellness Advocate, and Clinic Coordinator, ignited my passion for supporting people in need. I’ve worked closely with vulnerable populations, gaining invaluable experience in addressing complex mental health challenges and advocating for meaningful change. Through risk assessment, collaboration, and mental health advocacy, I’ve developed a deep sense of empathy and a commitment to helping individuals find their strength and overcome life’s hurdles.

In therapy, my approach is warm, inclusive, and person-centered. I strive to create a safe space where every individual feels heard, valued, and respected. Whether it’s helping a child build confidence, guiding a teen through life’s twists and turns, or supporting an adult on their path to healing, I’m here to empower you or your loved one to embrace their unique journey and discover resilience.

Therapy for All Ages

I absolutely love working with kids and teens! There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping young people navigate their world, build confidence, and develop tools they’ll carry for the rest of their lives. I believe therapy for kids and teens should be approachable, engaging, and even a little fun. Whether it’s helping a child manage their big emotions, supporting a teen as they handle school stress or friendships, or simply being a trusted person they can talk to, I bring energy and positivity to every session.

For adults, I offer a compassionate space to explore challenges and take steps toward personal growth. No matter the age, I tailor my approach to each person’s needs, offering caring guidance and tools to foster long-lasting growth and well-being.

Balancing Passion and Play

When I’m not working, you’ll find me pursuing hobbies that inspire my own mental wellness. I love coaching soccer and playing on my women’s soccer team—it’s such a joy to stay active and connect with others. I’m also a big fan of tennis, skiing, walking my dog, and baking (especially when it involves something chocolatey!). On quieter days, I enjoy relaxing with a good board game, playing Nintendo Switch, or tending to my growing plant collection. These activities are a reflection of my belief in holistic well-being, where balance, fun, and connection are key to thriving.

Building Resilience and Fostering Connection

At the heart of my practice is a belief in the power of healing and transformation. I’m here to walk alongside you or your loved one on the journey to self-discovery and growth. Together, we’ll navigate challenges, celebrate individuality, and build resilience. I’m committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels they belong and has the space to thrive.

If you’re looking for a therapist who is dedicated, empathetic, and especially passionate about supporting kids, teens, and their families, I’d love to connect. Whether you’re seeking support for your child, teen, or yourself, let’s work together to uncover strengths, find balance, and create a brighter future.
