I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist and Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master of Counselling in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University, recognized for academic excellence and professional dedication. I provide in-person and online counselling for individuals, couples, families, and groups. I believe that healing begins with the individual — but its impact reaches far beyond. When one person experiences meaningful change, it positively influences relationships, family dynamics, and the broader community. My goal is to support clients in making lasting, transformative changes that ripple outward.

My approach is grounded in attachment theory and focuses on the power of emotionally corrective experiences. I create a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their stories, feel validated in their emotions, and begin to rewrite their narratives with clarity and hope. I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach, combining evidence-based models such as emotionally focused therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, client-centered therapy, Circle of Security–Parenting, and sand tray techniques. Together, we uncover and heal emotional wounds, not just through insight but by creating new patterns of connection and emotional expression, helping clients build resilience and restore wholeness.

I have over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, university students, and families through challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, phobias, self-image concerns, academic stress, and life transitions. I also work with students to improve study habits, prepare for exams (e.g., high school diploma, SAT, UCAS, MCAT), clarify educational goals, and identify personal or emotional barriers to learning. When formal career assessments are needed, I collaborate with licensed career counsellors for specialized guidance.

As an immigrant parent of three teens/young adults, and someone married for almost two decades, I bring a relatable, compassionate, and multicultural perspective to my work. I’ve supported orphanage and adoptive families, founded the Polished Daughters Girls Club, and led programs like Leader in Me, reflecting my passion for mentoring youth and building community. I also weave over three decades of Christian faith into counselling for clients who desire faith-based support and speak at children, youth, and campus events. My personal and professional experiences allow me to guide clients through developmental and relational challenges with empathy and understanding.

When I’m not working, I enjoy mission outreaches, reading, exploring interior design, cooking healthy recipes, playing board games, and attending family sports, band, or school events. I love winding down with my husband and children, snuggling under a duvet while listening to inspirational sermons or podcasts.

I’m here to listen, guide, and collaborate with you so we can navigate challenges together. Whether you’re facing relational difficulties, emotional distress, or simply seeking personal growth, I walk alongside you with empathy and intention, helping you thrive at every stage of life.

Mantra/Favourable Quote

“If you help an individual, you support a family.
If you support a family, you strengthen a community.
If you strengthen a community, you uplift a nation.
If you uplift a nation,
you change the world”
