The decision to seek therapy is an important and deeply personal step; I’m so glad you’re here.
As a therapist, I’m honoured to hear your unique story and walk alongside you through life’s peaks and valleys. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and understood. With compassion and curiosity, I strive to support you in a way that validates your experiences and empowers your journey toward healing, growth, and wellness.
Many of my clients are adult children of emotionally unavailable parents. They often grew up in homes where love felt conditional, and emotional needs were quietly dismissed. In therapy, many are still carrying invisible burdens- self-doubt, a harsh inner critic, or emptiness in their relationships.
As a second-generation immigrant, I understand what it’s like to grow up between cultures: holding the weight of your parents’ hopes and expectations while trying to navigate a world they didn’t always understand. I also know the quiet shame that can come from feeling “not grateful enough,” “not good enough,” or “not emotionally strong enough,” especially when your pain never seemed to have a place.
In our work together, we’ll create space for those unspoken experiences. We’ll explore how the invisible burdens you carry have shaped your inner world, your relationships, and the way you treat yourself today. My approach is gentle, emotion-focused, and grounded in attachment theory and inner child work. As we lean into these tender places, my hope is to help you reconnect with the parts of you that had to stay hidden to feel safe. From there, we’ll begin to build the deep, authentic relationships you’ve always longed for.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, both in good standing. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling from Providence Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of General Studies in Education from Simon Fraser University.
I work with youth and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, and relational struggles. I am passionate about supporting individuals who feel disconnected within themselves, whether due to past wounds, attachment issues, or difficulties in expressing their emotions. In my work with couples, I help partners navigate emotional disconnection, fostering deeper trust and intimacy in their relationships. I seek to provide a warm, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions and develop practical skills to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
Outside of work, you might find me traveling, watching movies, or playing badminton. I also love spending time outdoors and connecting with friends, my husband, and my dog.
