Solasta Counselling is a thriving and growing group practice in Calgary, and we’re always looking to connect with excellent clinicians who want to be part of it — whether or not we have a specific opening posted right now. If you’re a Registered Psychologist or MSW looking for a part-time contract role (typically 1–3 days per week), we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for thoughtful, client-centred clinicians who want to do excellent work while being part of a genuinely warm, collaborative professional community.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from experienced clinicians across all areas of practice. Special consideration goes to applicants who bring one or more of the following:
- Experience conducting psychological assessments for adults, including autism assessments
- Experience providing couples counselling
- Experience working with clients aged 50+
(You don’t need to check every box above — strength in any one of these areas is a real asset, and we’re genuinely interested in hearing from clinicians with other areas of focus too.)
What You’ll Find at Solasta
- A genuinely warm and collegial team environment
- Weekly counselling consultation and monthly assessment consultation meetings for clinical support and connection
- Strong referral flow and marketing support to help build your caseload
- Administrative support, including billing handled for you
- Minimal admin burden — scheduling is largely limited to coordinating follow-ups with existing clients during sessions
- A very competitive fee split
- Access to assessment tools and resources, including ADOS-2, MIGDAS-2, and ADI-R, for clinicians providing assessments
- A growing practice with a strong reputation in Calgary
What Roles Typically Look Like
- Part-time contract arrangements, usually 1–3 days per week
- Flexible caseload aligned with your availability and expertise
- Opportunity to provide therapy, assessments, or a mix of both, depending on your interests
