Online Counselling in Other Provinces & Territories
Solasta Counselling is based in Calgary, Alberta, but some members of our team are able to provide secure online counselling to clients in additional Canadian provinces and territories.
Alongside our established online counselling services in Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, we currently have clinicians who can work with clients located in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
Which therapists you can work with depends on where you are located and the clinician’s professional registration or designation. Our Find a Therapist tool takes your province or territory into account automatically, so you’ll only be matched with clinicians who can work with you where you live.
Where Else Can We Provide Online Counselling?
Professional regulation differs across Canada, so not every Solasta clinician can provide services in every province or territory.
In addition to our broader services in Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, members of our team currently offer online counselling in the following locations.

Why Are Only Certain Therapists Available?
Counselling and psychology are regulated differently across Canada. Whether a Solasta clinician can work with you depends on their professional designation or registration and the requirements that apply in the province or territory where you are physically located during your appointment.
This means the therapists available to someone in British Columbia may be different from those available to someone in Manitoba or Alberta.
You don’t need to work this out yourself. When you use our Find a Therapist tool, your location is one of the factors used to determine which clinicians are shown to you.
Adults Facing Stress, Anxiety, Depression, or Life Transitions
Many adults in Quebec turn to online counselling when stress, anxiety, or depression starts to interfere with everyday life. Others seek support during significant life transitions such as career changes, relationship challenges, or loss. Meeting virtually with a psychologist can provide clarity, practical coping strategies, and renewed direction when life feels overwhelming.
Couples Seeking to Strengthen Communication and Connection
Relationships can be deeply rewarding but also complex. Couples counselling with a psychologist helps partners strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and rebuild connection. Whether facing recurring disagreements or simply wanting to grow closer, couples can benefit from guidance that fosters healthier patterns and deeper understanding.

What Can Online Counselling Help With?
Online counselling can be used for many of the same concerns you might bring to an in-person appointment.
Depending on the clinician, this can include support with anxiety, trauma, relationships, identity, parenting, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, attachment, grief and loss, emotional regulation, self-esteem, stress, burnout, and major life transitions.
The right therapist depends on more than location. Your age, what you’re looking for help with, and the clinician’s areas of practice are all important parts of finding a good fit.
What to Expect From Online Counselling
Online sessions take place through secure video at a scheduled appointment time.
You’ll need a device with a camera and microphone, a reliable internet connection, and a private space where you feel comfortable talking. Sessions otherwise work much like an in-person counselling appointment.
Your therapist will spend time understanding what’s bringing you to counselling, what you would like to change, and what would make the work useful to you. From there, you’ll decide together on the direction and frequency of sessions.
